Open in Dataedo Portal

Open in Web feature allows you to open objects viewed in Dataedo Desktop in the Portal interface without the need to navigate to them.

Configuration

The feature requires configuration to work. If your Open in Dataedo Portal button is disabled, then the feature was not enabled.

Shortcut in Desktop

After configuring, the feature will be available both under the object's context menu and in the top ribbon after selecting the object.

When used, the option will simply invoke the default browser window and navigate to the object.

Permissions disclaimer

Displaying objects in Portal is managed by Roles & Permissions, so if your account lacks permissions in the Portal, you will still get an unauthorized message even though you can view the object with Dataedo Desktop.
