Dataedo metadata repository can be hosted on SQL Server or Azure SQL databases as a separate database.
SQL Server
Supported versions
2012 and newer (currently tested up to 2022).
Supported editions
Express, Developer, Standard, Business Intelligence or Enterprise.
Required access level
To create a Dataedo repository you need a database user with the create any database permission.
Azure SQL
We support the all currently offered Azure SQL Databases. Follow this guide to create the repository database.
