Governments around the world introduce general data protection regulations (like GDPR in Europe or CCPA in California) that require organizations of all sizes to be aware what personal data about they collect and process. And this data is everywhere - in CRM, ecommerce, data warehouses, ERPs and all other databases... and in multiple tables and fields (think of created_by or order_address fields).
