Permissions to AI Autodocumentation

The AI Autodocumentation feature allows to automatically generate descriptions using OpenAI API (with GPT models).

The feature works for:

• glossary terms and KPIs,
• tables and views,
• columns of tables and views.

Permissions to generate descriptions with AI

To use the AI Autodocumentation feature you need Admin or Data Steward rights. Other users won't be able to generate the descriptions.

Permissions to view AI-generated descriptions

Any user that has access to particlular object (at least Viewer rights) has access to regular and AI-generated description fields.
