Applies to:
Dataedo 10.x versions, Article available also for:

You are looking at documentation for an older release.
Switch to the documentation for
Dataedo 23.x (current).
You often don't want to document all the objects in your database. Some of them are irrelevant - temporary, backup or obsolete tables for instance.
Dataedo lets you exclude such objects from imports with ignored objects list functionality.
You can add objects to ignored in two ways:
Uncheck specific objects while importing schema or
Remove objects that were imported to from documentation
Object from that list will be ignored from future schema updates.
Each documentation has its own list.
