Dataedo has built in data classification function to help you find and label GDPR data in all your databases.

Rules

Dataedo GDPR data classification has a list of built in fields it searches for in the repository. More about it here. Those fields are:

Personal Data:

  • Address
  • Address Location
  • Bank Account
  • Credit Card No
  • Date of Birth
  • Driver's License
  • Email
  • Face Photo
  • IP Address
  • Login
  • Marital Status
  • Name
  • National ID
  • Passport
  • Password
  • Phone
  • Social Media
  • Social Security No
  • Tax ID

Special Category Personal Data:

  • Biometric
  • Ethnicity
  • Gender
  • Genetic
  • Medical Records
  • Politics
  • Religion
  • Sexual Orientation
  • Trade Unions

Running classification

To run GDPR data discovery and classification click Data Classification button from the ribbon and choose GDPR.
