Release notes 9.0.3 - Web Catalog

This release is the release of a new product within the Dataedo family - Dataedo Web Catalog, a web interface for metadata repository. You can use Dataedo Web Catalog and Dataedo Desktop concurrently - Desktop allows you to import and document your databases, while Web Catalog is the superior option when looking at the prepared documentation.

This version of Web Catalog includes:

You can now see always up-to-date information on your database objects, since Dataedo Web Catalog shows the information directly from the repository, with no need for scheduling exports.

Check your business glossary terms in real-time where you can quickly check all terms in your business glossaries.

Subject Areas (modules)

Modules created in Dataedo Desktop are easily accessible through the Subject Area view, to make moving around your documentation easier.

Automatic, interactive database diagrams

See a diagram of objects connected to any of your tables or views with no prior preparation, right after importing. Tables directly related to the table you're focusing on are loaded immediately, but you can expand the diagram by using the Load next level of relationships button.

Desktop

There are no changes to Dataedo Desktop in this release. Dataedo Desktop 9.0.1 is still the current version and is compatible with Dataedo Web Catalog 9.0.3.
